Spoons, The car that you are talking about is Cheetah and was featured in the Oct. 1996 issue of Turbo magazine. At the time of the article the car ran a best time of 11.12@118.7mph. He had just redone his transmission and recorded a time of 10.91@123.4 on his Vericom computer(simular to the G-tech). His car is completely built motor, suspension, transmission, and all.
I have run a best time of 11.829@114mph so far. I have not done anything to the motor, suspension, or transmision(beside a modified torque convertor). Everything on my car is a bolt on item and I run the smallest upgrade turbos made by JWT(sport 500's). I will have the suspension and motor built by the end of this year and expect to run 10.5's by the year end. I will keep everyone posted as to my progress. Kyle(Houston)
